KT_1_BW.png

Kaitlin is a lighting designer for experiential works of theater, opera, art installation, and everything in between. She is passionate about creating innovative original works and breathing new life into classic pieces with artists who prioritize boldness and compassion. Her multifaceted background in design makes her a powerful collaborator in establishing the atmosphere of a story and revealing the inner workings of the minds within.

Recent works have brought her to Long Beach Opera, Boston Court Playhouse, Roundabout Theater Company, The Public Theater, Berkeley Rep, The Geffen Playhouse, The Mark Taper Forum and more!

She received her M.F.A. in Entertainment Design from UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television and her B.A. in Technical Theater from Long Beach State University. Along with her education, Kaitlin brings experience designing lighting for camera, architecture, and theme parks.

When not designing, she enjoys spending time with her partner and family, usually outside in the sun.
